Advancing Students

We offer tailored lessons for our advancing students looking to be successful in the show ring or to grow as better riders overall. Private lessons focus on the individuals personal growth as a rider and consistent progression of their riding skills for more success. Semi-Private and Group lessons are carefully selected to encourage all participants to these same goals while enjoying a more social environment. Lessons are also available to horse owners who wish to trailer or ride in.

New Rider Evaluation: $60

Private Lesson: $80
                    Own Horse: $65

Semi-Private Lesson (2 students): $65
                    Own Horse: $55

Group Lesson (3 to 6 students): $60
                    Own Horse: $50

Practice Ride: $40

Show and Schooling Instructor Fee: $75 per rider per day*

School-Horse Fee (using a non-leased 3D Farms school horse for shows, schoolings or clinics): $100 per day**

Beginning Lessons

Beginning riders are educated by our certified instructors and our safe and friendly lesson horses from the ground up. As our up and coming students develop they learn safe and conscientious horsemanship. These lessons are for developing riders as we instruct them to successfully move up to independence on the ground and in the saddle and gain confidence at the walk, trot and canter.

New Rider Evaluation: $60

Lead-Line Lesson (ages 5 and under)
            Up to 20 min: $25
            Up to 30 min: $40

Lounge-Line Lesson 30 minute: $50

Private Lesson: $65

Semi-Private Lesson: $60

Tack and Grooming Lesson: $35

Leasing a
3D  Farms Horse

No Horse? No Problem!
We have several competition ready horses available for lease.

Half-Lease - $850 per month
Includes:
  • Use of leased horse for all lessons and shows***
  • Lesson horse fee waived for all schoolings and shows
  • Up to 2 private lessons and 1 practice ride per week****
  • Discount on extra lessons and rides

Third-Lease  - $550 per month
(select horses only, pleasure riding on the  flat only)
Includes:
  • Use of Leased horse for all lessons
  • Up to 1 private lesson and 1 practice ride per week****
  • Discount on extra lessons and rides
* There is a 4 rider minimum for Non-HDEC Shows. If less than 4 riders wish to participate in an off-the-property show the fee increases to $300 divided by the number of riders. An Additional per-diem is charged if the show is outside of 30 miles of HDEC. Per-Diem is determined by the  actual cost (lodging, meals, gas, etc.) divided by number of participants.
** Transit days are billed at the same rate.
*** For one day shows that do not allow double usage of the same horse and the horse is dual leased, use of the horse will be determined based on the first committal to the show and payment in full of all show and trainer  fees. Unless an alternate arrangement is worked out in advance by the supervising trainer and the  two leasing parties.
****Lessons do not accumulate, there are no "make-up" lessons.
